Five year Member of NKBA Minnesota Chapter       AKBD

With an artist and an art professor for parents, it's no surprise that Christine Nelson ended up in a creative line of work. She grew up "feeling fabrics," and spent the early part of her career designing and producing home furnishings, costumes and clothing. Her artistic sense and business sensibility came together when she decided to start her own children's clothing company, which grew to be wildly successful under her direction. Given her affinity for color, texture and fabrics and her experience with patterns and projects, a career in kitchen and bath design was a natural progression when the time came to try something new.

What makes Christine different from others in her industry can be seen in her relationship with her clients. She understands who they are and how they live and carefully considers their needs. Christine sees each client as a partner, and makes sure they're involved in every step of the project. She's an excellent resource, and is someone who can help her clients navigate through the vast realm of home improvement. She wants to share her knowledge and ideas with her clients, and above all, wants them to have fun!

When she's not working, Christine loves being outdoors, either at her cabin, bicycling or just walking. She also enjoys learning about and experiencing different cultures, which she then brings into her designs. She is an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and has been an NKBA Design Award Winner for the past two years.
